The 2024 First A tournament of the Paranaense Soccer League (LPF) closed another chapter. This Wednesday the two games that were pending on the third date were played and thus the day concluded. The current champion of the contest, Patronato, achieved its first joy of the year.
At home – in La Capillita – they defeated bottom team Ministerio by 4 to 2. Luciano Pacco, Luciano Díaz, Valentín Villarreal and Ignacio Giacinti scored the goals for the Rojinegro team; while Federico Müller, on two occasions, scored the goals for the Porto team.
On the other hand, in the southern part of the capital of Entre Rios, Neuquén, the guard, could not beat an emboldened Peñarol, which days ago reached the semifinals of the Entre Ríos Cup. It was a 2-2 tie. Gabriel Bender and Federico Sangoy scored the Pingüino’s goals; while Gabriel Álvarez and Lucas Palacios celebrated for the Tricolor.
On the fourth date, Peñarol-Ministerio, Don Bosco-Patronato, Sportivo Urquiza-Paraná, Belgrano-Palermo and Neuquén-Oro Verde will play.
Entre Ríos Cup: it was known when the semifinals will be played
The Entre Ríos Football Federation (FEF) reported when the first legs of the semifinal series of the Entre Ríos Cup 2024 will be played. Victoria de Concordia and Gimnasia y Esgrima de Concepción del Uruguay will play on Saturday, from 8:30 p.m.; while Malvinas de La Paz will host Peñarol on Sunday, at 4 p.m., on the Patronato de La Paz court.
