Ernesto Herrera Guerra, director of the center, highlighted that among the achievements of 2023 are the automation projects developed with distributed generation technologies, which added more than 150 MW of installed power to the National Electric System in record time.

The manager explained that they managed to calibrate about 14 thousand measuring instruments, and around 10 thousand repaired pieces of equipment, which affect the reliability of comprehensive metrological services.

Likewise, the company repaired more than 550 electronic and industrial distributed generation equipment, which represents a foreign exchange saving for the country of approximately one million dollars.

Regarding the celebrations for May Day, the Provincial Secretariat of the CTC gave the group the commemorative plaques “XXII Congress” and “People who add”, for the merits of the entity in its daily work.

During the ceremony, workers who showed their unconditional support in the construction of the La Criolla Photovoltaic Solar Park in Santo Domingo were also recognized.

Orlando Urquijo Pascual, main specialist of the Project Engineering Department of the UEB ATI Villa Clara, clarified that the task is carried out with a strong commitment in order to carry out the change in the country’s energy matrix, in the shortest possible time.

Zulima Varela Requesen, secretary of the Provincial Union of Energy and Mines in Villa Clara, emphasized that the entity has implemented the 43 measures to strengthen the Socialist State Enterprise, and its economic indicators contribute to the industrial development of the nation in a complex stage.
