Two twin babies of one year were admitted to the Pasteur Hospital of Villa María, Cordovafor presenting multiple fractures and bruises, injuries that are not compatible with an accident, for which his parents were detained for child abuse. One of the minors is in serious condition.

Everything came to light on Thursday night when one of the minors was admitted to the hospital with multiple bruises and fractures. Quickly, the case took on public importance and generated commotion among the community.

“At first the girl came broken and with some blows to her face. It was confirmed that the break was not accidental, it was caused, in addition to many bruises on the face,” they explained to The Twelve TV about the painting with which the baby arrived, who is in serious condition.

Upon realizing the situation and learning that there were two other children in danger—the twin sister and another 3-year-old son of the couple—the authorities of the institution activated the corresponding protocol, so the Justice Department acted immediately and He went to the house where they lived to protect the minors.

Once at the scene, they identified similar injuries on the other twin baby, which is why she was also admitted to the hospital. Regarding the other minor, the authorities indicated that he was healthy and that he was left in the shelter of the Secretariat of Children, Adolescence and Family of Córdoba (SENAF).

The Pasteur Hospital, where the minors remain hospitalized

Although it is known that the child was under the guardianship of his direct relatives in the north of Córdoba, the Justice Department did not order any arrest at the moment, since the results of the autopsy carried out on the body are awaited.

The case was left in the hands of the Cruz del Eje prosecutor, Raul Ramirez, who began collecting the necessary information about the case: previous medical reports, the family’s criminal history and testimonies from social workers.
