The San Juan Productivity Table urges legislators to defend large investments within the framework of the treatment of the Bases Law

In a statement issued this Friday, the San Juan Productivity Table expressed its concern about the treatment of the Base Law at the provincial legislative level. In this sense, the Board made an urgent call to San Juan legislators to defend and support the large investments that take place in the province.

The Basic Lawwill begin to be debated next Monday in the National Congress. Some aspects of this law have generated concern in the Productivity Table, especially with regard to legal security and fiscal stability for the large projects that are being carried out in the province.

In the statement, the Productivity Table highlights the crucial importance of protect these investments, which represent a significant boost to the economy of both the province and the region as a whole. These large investments not only generate employment and economic development, but also contribute to sustainable growth and community well-being.

“For this reason, close to the treatment of the BASES LAW in general and in particular the Incentive Regime for Large Investments (RIGI), the Productivity Table understands that, each San Juan legislator (Deputies and Senators) in their task as representatives of the People, you must consider it fundamental to support those tools, such as the RIGI, that allow the investments that are being studied in the province to be carried out.”he indicates.

Likewise, the Bureau emphasizes the need to guarantee a clear and stable regulatory framework that provides certainty to investors and promotes an environment conducive to investment. In this sense, it urges legislators to work together with the different actors in the productive sector to ensure that the resulting legislation is favorable to the economic and social development of San Juan.
