In his campaign speech at San Luis Potosihe Presidential candidate of Citizen movementJorge Álvarez Maynez, criticized the amount of propaganda of the Green Environmental Party of Mexico (PVEM) that can be seen while touring the city. The rally held in the Plaza de Aranzazú was received by a large number of Emecista militants and sympathizers, highlighting the presence of girls, boys and adolescents. He was accompanied by Potosí candidates such as the Senate candidate, Josefina Salazar Báez and Arturo Carral, and the candidate for the municipal presidency of the capital, Sebastián Pérez.
