This week, the public transportation sector was once again affected by tragedy. On the morning of Wednesday, May 1, the lifeless body of Mitchel Alexis Rodríguez Rodríguez (31)a professional driver belonging to the Andimar Bus company in Curicó.
According to information from the Press Room of VLN Radioa companion of the driver went to the bedrooms located on the premises of the company’s workshops in the Colón sector, where unfortunately he found Rodríguez deceased without the causes of his death being known yet.
Carabineros personnel, after communicating with the Maule flagrante delicto prosecutor’s office, began efforts to locate the relatives of the deceased, who would reside in the area of Placilla, commune of Licantén.
On the other hand, in an internal communication, the general manager of Andimar, Ariel Devaudexpressed that “our thoughts and prayers are with Mitchel’s family and loved ones, along with extending our support as a company, we want to ensure that we are fully collaborating with the authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding this event.”
Notably This is the second fatal incident affecting people transportation workers this week in the province of Curicó. Previously, another worker from the Buses Díaz company was found dead under suspicious circumstances at a public transport stop on the way to Sagrada Familia.
