In an audio sent to different presidents of the Community Action Boards, dissidents indicate that they will begin to establish a curfew in this area of southwestern Huila. They claim that it is due to the large number of young drug users seen at night.
Communities in rural areas of La Plata and La Argentina are in uncertainty due to the audio that has been sent to different presidents of the Boards, where there is talk of a curfew that would be established from 7 at night, in order to to prevent there being young drug users in some areas of these municipalities.
In the audio, which they call a statement, a man who identifies himself as Yonier Martínez from the ‘Jaime Martínez’ front of the western bloc ‘Jacobo Arenas’ assures that they made the decision because there have been many robberies in the area and drug consumption and they want to control the situation.
“Starting at 7 at night we no longer want to see the vices at that time. After 7 at night, anyone we see out there carrying drugs has already been warned more than three times and they already know who they are,” the audio says.
Likewise, they say that they will force the clubs to close at 12 at night, “we don’t want to see people at 1 in the morning drunk, wandering around,” they say.

Extortions
While this is happening, extortions do not stop in the area and images of dissidents collecting extortions and generating panic in the area have been known.
