It happened in the capital of Huila, where a man, a repeat offender in his criminal actions, would have committed two crimes in the same incident.
José Albeiro Santos Chicué, is identified by the Prosecutor’s Office as allegedly responsible for the theft of which a woman was the victim in the Cinco de Neiva commune. In the same incident, the accused sexually abused them under threats.
“The alleged aggressor approached her and threatened her with a blunt weapon and proceeded to sexually abuse her. In addition, it was learned that apparently he took possession of the woman’s belongings and those of her companion,” said the delegate of the Center for Comprehensive Care for Victims of Sexual Abuse (CAIVAS) of the Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the investigations, the case would have taken place on December 7, 2023, on the soccer fields in the El Jardín de Neiva neighborhood, Huila, where the victim was.
Thus, with the complaint and the evidence collected, an arrest warrant was issued against him, which was carried out by uniformed members of the National Police in the Brisas de Avichente neighborhood of the city.
The individual was charged with the crimes of violent carnal access and qualified theft, which were not searched. During the hearings, a guarantee control judge imposed a restraining order on him in a prison.
It should be noted that this same person had already been deprived of liberty in January 2021, after being surprised with several items stolen from a hardware store in the El Jardín neighborhood.
On that occasion, the Neiva Metropolitan Police recovered a garden hose, 90 meters of double cable, 3 collectors, 3 sheets of smooth Zinc, 2 hoses for washing machines, 1 roll of leak stop tape, among other items, valued approximately at 400 A thousand pesos.
In his judicial record he presents six convictions as follows: 3 for the crime of qualified and aggravated theft, 2 for drug trafficking and 1 for the crime of abuse of trust.
