The engineer’s health has deteriorated in recent months. The publicly known photos reveal how Hernández has noticeably lost weight due to constant treatments.

The former presidential candidate was in the Intensive Care Unit, ICU, after the surgery. He is currently recovering from the intervention, but is in poor health.
