This Sunday, May 5, Ibagué will host the ‘Gran Dulima Marathon’ athletic race, a competition that will bring together more than a thousand athletes from all over the country and will have four categories: 42, 21, 10 and 5 kilometers.
In this way, the closures will begin at 5:00 in the morning, with roads opening as the event develops, which is projected around 10:00 in the morning.
“The route will cover important road corridors starting in front of the AQUA Shopping Center on 60th Street. From there, they will follow a route that includes Ambalá Avenue, Quinta Race, La Vara sector, 145th Street, the Casa de la roundabout Moneda, Mirolindo Avenue, 10th Street and Third Race,” said Giovanny Posada, operational director of the Mobility Secretariat.

Likewise, the official mentioned that the athletes of the 42 kilometer route will descend through the Fourth race, taking the Sixth race to turn on 25th Street towards Ambalá Avenue to reach the starting point.
It is recommended that Ibagueres take into account the marathon route and thus take alternative routes.
