In their assessment of the fighting in Cauca, they explained that they tried to camouflage the lifeless bodies of the uniformed men, in order to be able to leave the area in the face of the siege by the guerrillas.
“The commander of the maneuver on the ground decides to protect the integrity of the wounded, captured, and the lives of the soldiers of the military unit.
