According to the first data collected at the site, the Peugeot was traveling in a west-east direction and for reasons that are being established, the other car, which was going south-north, began to cross, which caused the strong crash. As a result of which both were left crossed on the road, so traffic was affected.

The first to arrive at the scene were police officers, followed by an ambulance from the Neuquén Integrated Emergency System (SIEN) and Police Firefighters, who decided to divert vehicular traffic while they removed the cars from the road. This caused traffic complications for several minutes.
“They treated them right here and told them that they only had a few bruises. They said they were fine, so the ambulance was the first to leave,” witnesses told LMNeuquén.
A driver did not stop and ended up inside a delicatessen
A 22-year-old driver did not stop and ended up with his car and everything inside a delicatessen, in the heart of the city of Neuquén. The Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident, but were unable to perform a breathalyzer test on the young man because he was taken to a hospital due to the blows suffered.
The road accident occurred last Sunday around 6, on Alderete Street, intersection with Mendoza, at the Bairoletto restaurant. In this place, a motorist who was traveling from south to north, upon reaching said corner, for reasons that are trying to be established, lost control of the Bora vehicle and crashed squarely into the business.
According to the information provided by Deputy Commissioner Jorge Torres of the Police Traffic Division, the 22-year-old driver was traveling in the car, accompanied by three other young people between 20 and 21 years old. However, he highlighted that the breathalyzer test could not be carried out, despite being a few meters from the First Police Station, because when the staff of the Neuquén Integrated Emergency System (SIEN) arrived they decided to immediately transfer him to the Bouquet Roldán hospital due to of the blows suffered.

Likewise, the deputy commissioner indicated that they were waiting for the medical report from the health institution, but announced that they would not be “serious injuries.”
For their part, witnesses to what happened stated that the Bora did not have a license plate at the time of the accident. Meanwhile, the Police reported that a record of the footage will be made, both from the city cameras and from the business, to determine the circumstances under which the crash occurred.
