San Juan and Nación divide expenses to reactivate La Ramada and La Nave

In San Juan, there are two neighborhoods that are financed entirely by the Nation through Procrear: La Ramada and La Nave. Both constructions have been paralyzed since the end of last year, when the Government of Javier Milei stopped financing public works throughout Argentina. Now the reactivation of the building has a horizon, given that national officials committed that the national State will provide 50% of the work, while the province will provide the other part.

HUARPE DIARY He spoke with the Minister of Infrastructure, Water and Energy, Fernando Perea, who commented that he had met with Rodrigo Aybar, the new Secretary of Housing and Habitat of the Nation. After local officials raised concerns about these housing complexes, the Nation’s response was that they will speak with the Minister of Economy Luis Caputo and thus grant them the resources to finish the work of Procrear.

“We were with the new Secretary of Habitat, Rodrigo Aybar. A month ago we presented you a folder with all the IPV works plus the two from Procrear. That way, an agreement can be reached that the Nation contributes 50% and the provincial State the other 50%, there we could reactivate. If so, we will sign an agreement with the Nation,” said Perea in this regard.

In this sense, the minister indicated that, with the collaboration of the Nation, the province is in a position to sustain the financing to finish these two neighborhoods. Especially because they are housing complexes of great importance for San Juan.

The neighborhoods of Procrear

La Ramada is one of the neighborhoods located near the Don Bosco School, specifically in Remedios de Escalada and Aristóbulo del Valle. It has 249 apartments. The draw to award the homes was rescheduled twice, until it was decided that the Government of Javier Milei would take charge.

On the other hand, La Nave is another project located on Rivadavia street between Santiago del Estero and Salta. This project consists of 103 apartments and began in June 2023, so it is in its first steps of progress.

It should be noted that, as DIARIO HUARPE announced, the funds to reactivate both housing complexes could begin to arrive in the second semester. Now, with the provincial contribution, reactivation is imminent.

Fact

The Nation owes the entire country, in works of Procrear and Casa Activa, US$2,000. However, the Nation would only be able to pay US$386 million.
