The Bicentennial Theater is preparing to receive a special evening full of violin melodies, starring small and young musicians from San Juan. On Thursday, May 30, in the Sala Auditorium of the TB, two exciting concerts will be held that promise to captivate the audience with their diversity and virtuosity.

The first show, “Little Violinists”, will begin at 8 p.m. and will offer a unique musical and visual experience. Under the direction of Professor Leandro Balderrama, the youngest students, between 5 and 15 years old, will perform a selection of Argentine popular songs and pieces from the universal violin repertoire. In addition, the dance group from the Polyvalent College of Art, directed by professor Luisina Correa, will join the stage for an interdisciplinary exhibition of live music and dance.

The second performance, titled “Young Violinists”, will begin at 9:30 p.m. and will present a repertoire ranging from Italian baroque to contemporary music, performed by the “Violin Ensemble” directed by Leandro Balderrama. With the collaboration of teachers Indira González and Ángel González, the young musicians will demonstrate their skills in a violin and piano show that fuses the classical with the popular.

General tickets for each concert have a value of $3000 and are available at the Teatro del Bicentenario box office, Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. They can also be purchased online through TuEntrada.com. A unique opportunity to enjoy a night full of music and talent in the cultural heart of San Juan
