This Thursday the second national general strike organized by the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) will take place against the management of President Javier Milei, and in the province they assure that it will have massive compliance.’ Without classes, without banks and only with essential services, there will be no mobilizations.
Classes: The three teaching unions UDAP, UDA and AMET announced that they are joining the strike, as do the university teachers grouped in ADICUS and SIDUNSJ.
Hospitals and Health Centers: ATSA said that there will be no activity in external offices but minimum guards will be maintained.
Collectives: The UTA union adheres and there will be no service.
Pharmacy: The San Juan Pharmacy Owners Association indicated that service will be normal.
Banks: Without activity. In the banks there will be personnel on duty to make payments to retirees. It will be possible to operate through Home Banking and the ATMs at the end of this Wednesday will be reloaded with the maximum amount of money.
Taxis: The taxi drivers union confirmed the provision of the service, but with a significant reduction. 30% will work to guarantee transportation to essential workers such as members of the Armed and Security Forces, and Health personnel.
