For example, María Elena Lucumí points out that her mother, Mrs. Policarpa Balanta, 100 years old, who has been affiliated with Cosmitet for three decades, is no longer receiving her medications..
“Yesterday I went, just like every month, to claim my mother’s medications, and oh surprise, I found the place closed, they told me I had to go somewhere else, about four people gave me instructions but no one gave me precise information. Right now everything is very confusing,” Lucumí said.
For its part, Martha Isabel Velandia, another of the entity’s users, assures that what was said in the statement by Cosmitet would not be entirely true.since the care for her, who is a patient with chronic diseases, has already had several obstacles.
“Cosmitet is sending us to Fiduprevisora to look at what we can do with our health, and those of us who are chronic patients are not given solutions, I need the attention of several specialists and they don’t define anything for me,” the woman said.
