Governor Gustavo Valdés confirmed the break in the leadership of the Radical Civic Union and set an expiration date on the Encuentro por Corrientes (ECO) alliance.

He confirmed that he will compete for the presidency of radicalism and warned that the province’s vision must be for the future, not as in 2000. He insisted on the need for changes and new leaders. He gave the single ballot a thumbs down.

Regarding the candidates for Governor for next year, he noted: “There are many candidates, but people think it’s a joke… that there is talk of candidacies.”

He anticipated that the candidate has to be a politician who is committed to modernity.

Regarding the formation of the future alliance, he said: “We are working with those who want
