The Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí (UASLP)through the Directorate of Editorial Development and Publications, extends a attentive invitation to the university community and citizens to enjoy the more than 90 free activities that will shape the 48th edition of the UASLP National Book Fair, which will take place from Friday, May 24 to Saturday, June 1.

This occasion places special emphasis on children’s literature. The inauguration will take place this Friday, May 24 at 12:00 p.m. in the patio ofl Central Building, Álvaro Obregón no. 64, historic center of the city of San Luis Potosí. Attendees will be able to purchase bibliographic material from 64 exhibitors and their more than 120 publishing houses.

The University of Guanajuato has the honor of being the special guest of the 48 FNLUASLP through its UG Editorial, from which the books “Biopolitics and neoliberalism. The contemporary management of powers” ​​on Friday, May 24 at 4:00 p.m.; and on Saturday, May 25, “Reflections on economics and social sciences: the case of Mexico” at 11:00 a.m. and at 4:00 p.m. “The very new in the twilight of Francoism.”

The program on Friday the 24th also includes presentations in the Autonomy patio of: Magali Ortega and her book “Chismecito Literary Vol. 1” at 5:00 p.m.; Alejandro Rosas with “The Head of Joaquín Murrieta” at 6:00 p.m.; Pilar Montes de Oca with the book “México chingón”at 7:00 p.m.
