The conclave was in Cipolletti, at Weretilneck’s house, and lasted almost three hours, during which time the president and the union member addressed different topics in – perhaps – a longer meeting in which they both participated.

There was a good atmosphere at the meeting and a lot of analysis, each one from their place, of what the national political scene is leaving and the impact on the provinces. Afterwards, and already immersed in Rio Negro current affairs, they agreed to convene the Public Service in Viedma on Monday, June 10 at 10 to begin discussing the new parity.

“We needed to have certainty about the continuity of salary negotiations in the province. The economic measures that are promoted at the national level have a negative impact on the provincial districts. We are currently witnessing a process of sharing of losses and nationalization of profits. This It cannot affect public sector workers in Río Negro,” said Rodolfo Aguiar.

An issue that will have to wait until the moment of the joint meeting but that would be on the review agenda, is the situation of almost 450 goalkeepers from Río Negro, who work under the hour-long regime, something that ATE marked as a serious irregularity. as they are not contemplated under the framework of the contracts. During the management of the former governor, no progress could be made to unblock that claim and now, there would be the will to find a way out that would put the workers in another situation.

“We have to continue thinking about the recovery of workers’ income. The state cannot be a victim of any adjustment. Although the debate on the numbers will take place as appropriate in the Public Service, for us the poverty line must continue to be the first guiding statistic of the negotiations,” added Aguiar, who traveled to Río Negro this weekend exclusively to meet with the governor.

During the meeting, they also addressed the progress made and planned the continuity of the development of the Collective Labor Agreement for the central public administration. In this sense, the Public Service Board could define new salary increases. In addition, they analyzed the staffing and operation of the main portfolios: Health, Education and Human Development, among other organizations.

Rodolfo Aguiar travels to Switzerland to denounce President Javier Milei

If everything goes as planned, the general secretary of ATE Nación, Rodolfo Aguiar, will take a plane next Tuesday that will take him to Geneva, Switzerland, where the headquarters of the ILO (International Labor Organization) is located. Aguiar, who is one of the national unionists who showed the greatest opposition against the policies implemented by the president, Javier Milei, will take the claim of the organization he directs to the ILO.

“On Tuesday I would go to the ILO to denounce the Argentine State for the absolute violation of rights that President Milei is doing here in Argentina and the attempt to privatize public companies,” Aguiar concluded, in dialogue with LM Cipolletti.
