The visit to Huila by the Minister of Information and Communications Technologies MinTIC Oscar Mauricio Lizcano Arango was confirmed on Friday, June 7.
As established, the official will tour three municipalities in the department including Pitalito and Neiva where he plans to meet with local authorities in order to establish investment commitments and support in technological issues.
In Pitalito he will announce the opening of a research and development laboratory based on the so-called Artificial Intelligence, a process that was announced by Mayor Yider Luna Joven after meeting in Bogotá with the senior official.
In the capital of Huila, Minister Liscano has planned to hold a conference on the implementation of Artificial Intelligence in academic, administrative and business fields.
The consolidation of important processes that provide development to Huila is expected from the involvement of the Ministry of Information and Communications Technologies.
