A week after the murder of the young Ángela María Herrera, who was attacked by a hitman inside her business premises, in Montenegro, Quindío, the authorities indicated that they already have a hypothesis in which it is believed that another woman would be behind the crime. , in a fact of intolerance.

The crime generated all kinds of reactions in the municipality of the Coffee Region, as well as the statement of President Gustavo Petro, who through his social networks asked the Director of the Police, William Salamanca, to find those responsible for the murder.
“This analysis commented by someone who is not close to my ideas about this crime is absolutely true. These crimes that kill flowers should not continue in Colombia. The murderer will carry his cross for life, but Colombia must be for life,” added the president.

The incident occurred on May 27 on 16th Street and Carrera Sexta, inside the decoration business premises “Celebrando ando”, in the Barú commercial building, where Angélica Herrera was dedicated to selling decoration objects for celebrations.
In a video from a security camera you can see the two subjects arriving on a motorcycle. One of them, dressed in black and without removing his helmet, gets off and enters the premises, where he shoots directly at the woman, and then flees on the motorcycle, on which his accomplice was waiting for him.
After the murder, the authorities offered a $10 million reward, and the authorities confirmed that the young woman had not received threats, nor had she had any personal problems. Likewise, in the midst of the investigations, the Police found the helmets and clothes of the hitmen in the Alaska neighborhood of Montenegro, as well as the motorcycle was found in a parking lot.
For her part, the secretary of the interior of Quindío, Juana Camila Gómez, pointed out that the subjects involved in the murder were identified, among whom was a minor. The arrest of both has already been ordered.
