This morning, a large theft was reported to the company Total Air in the Valle Viejo department, adding to the crime wave that has affected the region in recent days. The incident took place after seven thirty in the morning, on provincial route 33, at kilometer two and a half, meters from the provincial police logistics center.
The criminals violated the entrance gate and took a large amount of tools and supplies, the value and quantity of which are still being evaluated by those responsible for the firm. Personnel from the investigation division are working on the case, comparing a film record of the company, where the movements of the criminals would have been recorded.
So far, no people have been arrested or detained in relation to this incident. The situation has generated concern among residents of the area, who have also reported other crimes that occurred in the vicinity of provincial route 33, in the Valle Viejo department.
Authorities continue to investigate and it is expected that measures will be taken to strengthen security in the area.
