Neutering and veterinary care in Santa Fe

The Municipality of Santa Fe continues to carry out a territorial operation with different actions. Among them, the presence of IMUSA in your neighborhood in the eight districts of the city stands out. It is remembered that for castrations, animals must be fasted for 12 hours, both from solids and liquids, and be over 6 months of age. Females may be in heat, but not pregnant or less than 60 days postpartum.

It is also requested that dogs be on a leash and cats in a carrier box or backpack. It is necessary to bring a blanket to keep them warm.

It is also clarified that on rainy days the service is not suspended but special care must be taken to ensure that the animals do not get wet to be operated on. The veterinary professional may suspend the intervention in a particular case, for reasons of animal health or due to lack of the required conditions.
