The territorial delegate of Educational Development and Vocational Training and University, Research and Innovation of the Board in Córdoba, José Francisco Viso, accompanied by the delegate of Economic Development, Promotion and Employment in the Provincial Council, Félix Romero, presented this Monday ‘The show of your life’, a day of vocational and professional guidance for students with disabilities that will be held in Córdoba on June 13.
As the Board has indicated in a note, among the objectives of the conference, a pioneer in Andalusia, is to offer information on training, work, leisure and assistance resources aimed at students with disabilities from the age of 21, as well as reflecting with guidance professionals on the life project of this type of student to offer an educational response that is as adjusted as possible to their abilities and potential.
‘The show of your life’ will run throughout June 13. In the morning, and at the Provincial Council of Córdoba, a presentation on the problem in question will be held for the families of these students, a round table composed of specialists in the field, as well as visits to the different stands installed by companies. related to disability, the case of Fepamic, ONCE, Futuro Singular, Autismo Córdoba, Down Córdoba, Prode, CEEE Virgen de la Esperanza, CEE Niño Jesús, Acpacys or the Andalusian Employment Service, among others.
Likewise, the CPM Músico Ziryab will host more than 200 counselors from the Provincial Guidance Network, who will address this problem in training sessions. In the afternoon, and as a culmination of the day, students from the CEEE Virgen de la Esperanza will perform their traditional musical ‘Beauty and the Beast’ at the Gran Teatro de Córdoba.
This event has the invaluable collaboration of the Provincial Council of Córdoba, which will be the nerve center of the activities, as well as the City Council of Córdoba, specifically the IMAE, which will provide the Gran Teatro for the performance of the musical. Likewise, Viso has thanked the work of other people and entities, such as Antonio Guerra, author of the advertising poster, Cajasur, the Miguel Salcedo Hierro School of Dramatic Art, the IES Averroes, the Músico Ziryab Professional Conservatory of Music, Decathlon, Vistalia and Roldán Pastry Shops.
