In the last seven days, eleven vehicles were seized by the Investigative Police (PDI) due to various reasons in the capital of Potosí and Villa de Ramos, indicated the Attorney General’s Office of the State of San Luis Potosí (FGESLP).

In the first instance, PDI agents seized three vans, two in the main city and another in Villa de Ramos. Of these vehicles, all of them had a theft report, one of them also had an altered serial number.

A trailer box that was circulating with altered identification digits was also located at a gas station on Rocha Cordero Boulevard.

Within similar actions, the operational elements carried out a search of a property on the highway to Zacatecas and thus found three vehicles that were stolen without violence in several neighborhoods in the north of the city.

In addition, the investigating police officers seized two vans through court orders for isolated cases, one related to fraud and the other for causing damage to a vehicle in traffic incidents.

Likewise, two cars were captured by elements of the FGESLP, after it was detected that these units were involved in different cases to commit home and business robberies in the region.

The vehicles were made available to the corresponding areas of the Prosecutor’s Office, so that the staff could provide adequate follow-up and resolution to each case.
