A road accident that almost ended in tragedy occurred this Monday the 10th, on National Route 118 that connects the city of Saladas with Santa Rosa. A car crashed into the back of a truck carrying logs of lumber.
The driver of the Volkswagen Gol car, a teacher who works at a school in the area, was heading to the educational establishment when his car collided with the truck, for reasons that are still unknown. When the truck driver noticed the collision, he managed to park on the shoulder and in the maneuver dragged the car that had become embedded in the trailer.

Injured, the teacher was able to get out of the vehicle on his own.
The truck driver was unharmed. Everything happened around 7 in the morning, a few meters from the bridge over the Santa Lucía River, on the aforementioned route 118, approximately kilometer 23.
