The CGT La Rioja joins the mobilization against the Bases Law that will take place next Wednesday in Plaza 25 de Mayo.
Various unions, human rights activists and social organizations formed by the political and social front against adjustment and repression will join the protest to express their rejection of the bill promoted by the national government.
The General Confederation of Labor has called for active participation in the mobilization in Plaza 25 de Mayo starting at 10 a.m., with a prior concentration in front of the local delegation on 132 San Martín Street, where the presence of union organizations is expected.
The demonstration is in accordance with the date on which the bill will be discussed in the Senate and a large gathering is expected in the Plaza 25 de Mayo to express the repudiation of the Base Law.
The local CGT has urged active participation in the protest as a necessity and moral obligation to demonstrate the strength and unity of the labor movement in the streets and reject a law, which they defined “attacks the rights acquired by the working class.”
