In a procedure coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, members of the Anti-Drug Police Force detained two individuals of legal age and seized narcotics in the capital city of the department of Ischilín.
The operation took place in two residences located in the Parque Libertad and Los Algarrobos neighborhoods of the city of Deán Funes, where two subjects aged 19 and 28 were arrested. One of whom already had a record of violating the National Narcotics Law.
In addition to closing two points of sale, Force investigators seized several doses of marijuana, money and other items related to the fractioning and marketing of illicit drugs.
According to the investigations, one of the detainees used the “delivery” modality to distribute narcotics in squares and in the vicinity of the Juan Bautista Alberdi Secondary Education Center and the Sacred Heart Private Institute.
The operation was under the supervision of the authorities of the Deán Funes Investigative Prosecutor’s Office, who ordered the transfer of the detainees and what was seized to judicial headquarters for alleged violation of the National Narcotics Law (23,737).
