On Friday the music and performing arts school represents ‘Wild Heart’

The musical theater students from the ‘Maestro Arroyo’ Municipal School of Music and Performing Arts in Calahorra will perform ‘Corazón Savage’ at the Ideal theater on June 14. It is a multidisciplinary show of theater, music and dance. Dance students and the Emmae youth choir will also participate.

‘Wild Heart’ is a story of love, friendship and family with 6 scenes in 2 acts, of its own production and script, and adapted music (from musicals and reference groups). The students chose the theme (about animal abuse and coexistence). Tickets are free and available at the Ideal Theater box office.

The Councilor for Education and Culture, Reyes Zapata; the school director, Eduardo Peña; the director of the theater classroom, Mario Galán; and Cristina Garrido, from the Association of Adoptive and Foster Families of La Rioja, a collaborating institution, yesterday presented this montage that ends the 2023-2024 academic year.

Combos concerts

Tomorrow, Thursday, at 7:00 p.m., the Paseo del Mercadal kiosk will be the scene of the end-of-year concerts that will be performed by four music school combos of various styles. They are made up of electric guitar, bass, drums and voice students of different ages.
