Two international photographers, the German Robin Schimko, and the American Jason Kummerfeldt, and the province of Córdoba as a work field. They are the two photojournalists who extracted the essence of Córdoba for the documentary Frames from Andalusiawhich premieres next June 19.

This is a project organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports to disseminate the image of Andalusia as a destination and its potential for the creation of audiovisual content, and which has brought together a dozen prestigious international photographers in the field of photography. travel and tourism photography.

In the case of Schimko and Kummerfeldt, both traveled for months through the province, leaving images of the capital (the Botanical Garden, the Mosque-Cathedral or Medina Azahara), and the town of Iznájar. Some of them focus on the power of Córdoba as a setting, but many others set the objective on the people of Córdoba themselves. And all of this, together with the journey of these ten photographers, has ended up in a documentary that premieres in Malaga this Thursday, June 19, and whose trailer can now be seen.

The promotional film features the participation of French photographer Alex Strohl, Americans Jason Kummerfeldt, Mitchell Kanashkevich, Nick Carver and Taylor Pendleton; the Canadian Lizzie Peirce; the British Luke Stackpoole, Mike Chudley and Thomas Heaton; and the German Robin Schimko.

In total, these photographers have accumulated more than four million followers on Instagram, where many of them have already shared their trip and their vision of Andalusia.
