“As of July 1, interest and penalties on arrears corresponding to 2024 begin to run, while due to the previous periods these measures are already in progress,” said the official, who called on taxpayers to pay in full. in a timely manner, in order to avoid these sanctions.
He maintained that about 20 daily seizures are projected, according to the summons that the Tax Inspection and Audit subgroup of the Income Management Group has been making in use of its legal powers; In addition, he stated that this month an immobilization brigade will be deployed to vehicles that have a high delinquency rate.
Likewise, to increase collections, the departmental administration maintains the ‘Ruedas en el Cesar, Pagas en el Cesar’ campaign, offering discounts of 60 percent in the first year, 50 percent in the second year and 40 percent in the second year. one hundred in the third, on the tax on vehicles that are registered in other parts of the country, and are transferred to this department; or for vehicles that are registered for the first time in Cesar.
