The activity will take place between June 21 and 22 with the support of the Municipality of Río Ibáñez.

This Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22, within the framework of the Mapuche Wetripantu celebration, the II version of the Potato Festival will take place in Bahía Murta, a traditional gathering organized by the Mankekura Indigenous Group in collaboration with the Municipality of Ibáñez River.

The meeting will be a fair of local producers, a sample of potato products, roast pork and Mapuche cuisine to culminate with a dance party.

These will be part of the attractions that this festival will have in the Murtina community that years ago welcomed settlers of the Mapuche ethnic group who settled in some sectors of Patagonia in Aysen, at the same time as the colonization of the regional territory.
