Fidel Pardo and Ana María Moris have more than 50 years of experience in the aquaculture industry helping companies supervise their operations and achieve their objectives.

Innovasea, a world leader in technologically advanced aquatic solutions for aquaculture and fish monitoring, yesterday announced the hiring of Fidel Pardo and Ana María Moris to provide better customer service in Chile and drive its global digital strategy.

Through a press release, it was reported that Pardo will serve as Innovasea’s external sales specialist for the Landbased unit. In his position, the professional will be responsible for helping Chilean producers grow and optimize their operations. Most recently, Pardo worked for AquaChile, where he oversaw their two largest recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) farms and managed the production of half of their smolts.

“Fidel’s proven track record makes him a valuable addition to the team. His first-hand experience with the equipment and the real-world challenges that aquaculturists face make him uniquely qualified for this position,” said Innovasea Chile Managing Director Juan Pablo Barrales.

“As a former Production Manager, I understand what it takes to successfully raise fish. Now I have the opportunity to take advantage of this experience to help companies develop and improve their facilities,” said Pardo.

Meanwhile, Ana María Moris will serve as senior product manager and lead product development for Innovasea’s global digital aquaculture solutions. In her role, she will oversee both the continued improvements of Innovasea’s existing product portfolio – such as the Realfish Pro Platform which includes Farm360, aquaEnviornment and aquaControl – as well as the development of new initiatives. Most recently, Moris served as Director of Digital Business Development at AKVA Group ASA, where she was part of the executive team that oversaw the company’s global digital strategy.

“Ana María brings a unique combination of practical experience and business acumen that is unmatched in the industry. The addition of Ana María helps us ensure that our technology continues to evolve to meet customer needs,” stated Innovasea Vice President of Aquaculture Intelligence, Tim Stone.

“I am excited to join Innovasea and help develop digital products that will truly make a difference in the industry. Innovasea has a long history of innovation and excellence. Our customers trust us and we must deliver on that commitment as we work to deliver solutions that improve their lives, anticipate and respond to emerging trends and, ultimately, establish new standards in the industry,” stressed the professional.

Ana María has a master’s degree in executive business management from the University of Barcelona and is pursuing a master’s degree in digital transformation.
