The Grupo América Foundation made a new delivery of outerwear collected during the Zero Cold campaign. This initiative benefited 200 families belonging to two picnic areas in Capital and Guaymallén and an institution that serves homeless people.

The institutions that received the donations were the Sonrisitas picnic area in the San Martín neighborhood, the Brazos de Vida Association of Guaymallén, and the Street Pastoral.

Barbarita Vila, director of Grupo América Foundation, He expressed about this new delivery: “Today we have a reach of about 200 families from Ciudad and Guaymallén. With our foundation we always try to be federal and reach the entire province. People accompany us with clothes in very good condition and also bring new clothes, It is an honor to have them accompany us in this way.. Everything they have in their homes and that they think could be useful to someone else, we receive.”

A campaign that seeks to assist the entire province

The Cold Zero campaign aims to assist families from different parts of the province of Mendoza, through community institutions that need warm clothing to face the low temperatures. The director of the Foundation highlighted the federal nature of the initiative, which seeks to reach all corners of the province with the necessary help.

Laura Reta, manager of the Sonrisitas picnic area, commented excitedly: “We are very grateful because in these difficult times receiving a coat for the children is very important. Thank you to everyone who helps because without them it would be impossible.”
