In the last few hours, a video that generated strong indignation went viral on social networks, involving the IV Air Brigade of Mendozapart of the Argentina air force.
The recording shows a celebration of the Father’s day that got out of control, held on Thursday at the Noncommissioned Officers Casinolocated in the district of The Plumerillo, Las Heras. Given these facts, it has been confirmed that there will be severe sanctions.
The captured images show members of the IV Air Brigade dancing and performing push-ups on half-naked women, which has sparked a strong public reaction.
In response to this inappropriate behavior, the Minister of Defense of the Nation, Luis Petriannounced to ONE Diary that drastic disciplinary measures will be taken. Four senior non-commissioned officers have been placed on mandatory retirement, while three others will face serious sanctions.
“For four Senior Non-Commissioned Officers, because they are the oldest, we put them on Mandatory Retirement and we will apply serious sanctions to three others,” declared Petri. These decisions are the result of an internal investigation that was activated on Friday, as soon as the video of the internal celebration was released.
The video that uncovered the scandal
The investigation, carried out by the Air Force under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Defense, identified the seven involved through material filmed at the Noncommissioned Officers Casino. All of them were in uniform, which aggravated their situation. In addition, it was determined that the woman who participated in the celebration has no relationship with the institution and she is a civilian, so she will not face any sanctions.
The video shows uniformed personnel from the IV Brigade dancing and doing physical exercises in the company of a dancer dressed in the Rio style. One of the critical points of the investigation is to determine who organized the celebration and authorized the entry of civilians to the military premises, an aspect that remains under scrutiny by the leadership of the Air Force and the Ministry of Defense, especially considering that the head of the briefcase, Luis PetriHe is from Mendoza.
