As planned by the Headquarters of the San Juan Policethe “safe routes and roads” plan was launched, so as of this Friday, prevention and safety work began to be carried out on the different routes and roads of the province.

The work of removing loose animals from the routes will be in charge of the Rural Police Division with three divisions that will be deployed throughout the departments Caucete, Fertile Valley, Sarmiento and Calingastacovering important routes such as National Route 141, Route 40, Route 12, Provincial Route 510 and Route 385.

It should be noted that if a loose animal was detected, contravention proceedings were drawn up for the violation of article 170 of Law 941-R, with the intervention of the Respective Peace Courts and as for animals, they will be subject to economic sanctions. So far, six horses, a donkey and two goats are in shelters in municipal corrals, with the sole purpose of avoiding road accidents, many of which end in misfortune.

The main axis of the implementation of these operations is not only to safeguard the integrity of the people of San Juan who travel daily along the routes and roads of San Juan, but also to prevent the animals that are also at risk in the rural areas of San Juan.
