The most anticipated award of the Martín Fierro de Radio award went to Nelson Castro for his program “Crónica de una noche anunciada” on radio Rivadavia.
The journalist recalled the health of Jorge Lanata, before starting his speech, “I send you my regards Jorge Lanata, may he get better.”
“It moves me to see you here because it is an example of what radio is, it is a level of coexistence,” Castro began and added that those who think differently “were here respecting each other.”
“We must generate a society of respect to build: it is important that there are voices that think differently and equally. As we achieve that, we will achieve the validity of the radio, which continues to be in force because people listen to all the voices,” the driver remarked.
“And second – to generate a society of respect – to educate: in the face of so much authoritarianism and efforts that fail. “The crack impoverishes us, plurality enriches. Long live the radio!” concluded Nelson Castro with the highest award in hand.

The journalist won the award for best male journalistic work at the Martín Fierro radio awards. «I appreciate the love that people give. No personal work can be done without the team,” Castro began.
The journalist pointed to the current situation of radio work: “For the people who work in the radio, so that they have better working conditions and that we continue to be the voice of those who do not have one.”
“I dedicate it to my mom, dad, brothers and all of you,” the journalist concluded.
Cristina Pérez won the best female driving
Journalist Cristina Pérez, from Radio Rivadavia, won this Sunday the Martín Fierro de Radio award for best female AM host.
“Thanks to Radio Rivadavia, which is my home and was resurrected like the Phoenix,” said the journalist with the statuette in her hands.
Cristina Pérez remembered her father, who recently passed away: “My father listened to me every afternoon on the radio and it is the first time he is not there. I dedicate it to him and to my brothers who are suffering this loss with me.”
“Nobody stops us”, by Beto Casella, was awarded a Martín Fierro
The program “Nadie nos Para”, hosted by Beto Casella on Rock & Pop, was awarded last night with the Martín Fierro for best FM morning journalistic program.
Casella, speaking on the occasion, said that he is the one who “drives the ship a little,” but highlighted the importance of his colleagues.
He also spoke against the “precariousness” of the majority of workers in the sector, who “in most cases do not make it to day 20.”
The producers who accompanied Casella rescued the intention of giving a touch of good cheer to the people starting at 9, with the help of the charismatic driver.
