06/26/2024. Without progress in the investigation that was classified as homicide in the occasion of robbery, family and friends will send the claim to the president of the body, Ekel Meyer when two months have passed since the murder.
On July 1, two months will have passed since the murder of Luri Sosa, which is why family and friends will send a letter to the president of the Supreme Court of Justice of the province, Ekel Meyer, to demand justice.
Noting that almost two months after the bloody event, there are still no further details of the investigation, the “Justice for Luri Sosa” community will make their claim known through an open letter, requesting support by adding a signature to the document (here).
With suspicions about the secrecy in which the case is involved, the letter details what they know so far about the investigation. Noting that there is only one accused (RMC, as announced by the MPA), the case was classified as homicide on the occasion of robbery, however, relatives indicated that Luri Sosa knew his attacker.
Likewise, residents of the place – Luri was found lying on the floor at the intersection of Eva Perón and Azopardo streets – indicated that there was a red Renault Clio prowling the area at the time the musician was attacked, they even heard the cry of “get up, get up”, so in addition to the perpetrator, there are other people involved in the murder.
Regarding this vehicle, it was the same prosecutor Walter Rondón who explained that it was being investigated. In this regard, relatives and friends of Luri Sosa asked: “Who was driving the car? Who is the owner of the car? Who else was in the car? What did the person or people who fled in the vehicle do after killing Luri? Why did they abandon it? Are all the people involved in his murder under arrest?”
And they added to the list of doubts they have about the investigation, “What do the cameras show? Does justice already have a line of the car’s route? Where did they go after murdering Luri? Why did they continue to use their social networks after killing him, if it was supposedly a robbery and many could still see him as connected?
Almost two months after the murder and without actually knowing what happened on May 1, the cover of homicide in the occasion of robbery in the Luri Sosa case does nothing more than fuel suspicions of the cover-up of other accused people and they make it known close to each mobilization, in which they maintain “don’t put the dog on us.”
