These are the requirements to access scholarships for technical careers in Antioquia

Until next June 23, the call for 1,300 scholarship places in technical careers, diplomas and courses, that will be granted by the Comfama Compensation Fund and the CESDE.

This strategy is available for affiliates of rates A and B in the municipalities of Medellín, Bello, Rionegro, Apartadó and La Pintada.

The program Órbita Scholarships offer learning opportunities in more than 30 courses, diplomas and techniques in knowledge such as electromechanics, hotel services, video game design, software development, marketing and installation of electrical and solar energy networks.

According to Laura Flórez, head of education and learning at Comfama, “we create programs that support our members to achieve their goals. The Órbita program scholarships connect with that opportunity to continue cultivating curiosity and wonder through learning.”

As explained by this alliance, Program participants will be able to access a partial scholarship of 80 percent in category A, 60 percent for Rate B to access technical education and continuing education programs such as courses, diplomas and training routes.

In addition to support in institutional well-being, which includes mentoring and connection with strategies that promote employability.

To access the scholarships, Those interested must be members of Comfama with membership category A or B, or be its beneficiaries. Additionally, they must be at least 16 years old. and having passed ninth grade in a Colombian public education institution. Upon meeting these requirements, people who wish to apply for the scholarship must do so through the website of this Compensation Fund.

There are programs related to 3D animation, video games, fashion design, event operations, audiovisual production, photography, digital content, software developmentcomputer systems, electromechanics, electrical and solar energy networks, marketing, human resources, occupational risk, administration, among others.
