National Police committed to the reception of the Club Atlético Bucaramanga – CorrillosR

The National Police, in an effort to guarantee security and coexistence during the reception of Club Atlético Bucaramanga in Colombian professional soccer, carried out a special operation. The team arrived at Palonegro International Airport on Sunday, where a robust security detail was deployed to ensure that the festivities passed without incident.

More than 3,000 uniformed personnel were in charge of maintaining order and security in the metropolitan area of ​​Bucaramanga. The device had uniformed personnel in the places of greatest public influx, in addition to motorized reactions and strategically located checkpoints. Uniformed personnel were present throughout the caravan’s route, from the airport to the Américo Montanini stadium, ensuring continuous and safe accompaniment for all attendees.

The National Police continued to promote the #SoyTolerante campaign, inviting all citizens to be exemplary fans by celebrating with respect and in peace.

In this context, he recommended that citizens be part of the “Safest Team” celebrating with respect and tolerance. It was essential that attendees control their consumption of intoxicating beverages and self-regulate so as not to lose control during the celebration. In addition, the police made a special call not to drive under the influence of alcohol, since this puts one’s own life and that of others at risk. The Traffic Secretariats of the municipal administrations were deployed to enforce road safety regulations.

The Bucaramanga Metropolitan Police also recommended that citizens celebrate with harmony and good treatment, respecting all the people who attend the different points where the route of the Club Atlético Bucaramanga was seen.

The police called on the community to be an active part in promoting a safe and respectful environment during the celebrations.

The National Police reiterated its commitment to security and citizen coexistence, and thanked all citizens for their collaboration in ensuring that the celebrations took place in an atmosphere of peace and respect.
