Three frontal systems would affect the Coquimbo Region in the coming days

A new frontal system will affect the center of the country, even reaching the Province of Choapa. The rainfall would mainly affect the mountain sector, however, some communes in the area would also receive rain this Tuesday.

According to Mi Radio meteorologist Cristóbal Juliá, “the probable amounts for the commune of Los Vilos would be between 15 to 20 mm; for Illapel between 10 and 15 mm; for Cinnamon between 5 and 10 mm; and for Salamanca between 15 and 20 mm.” On the other hand, in Limarí, Monte Patria and Combarbalá they would receive showers throughout the day (Tuesday).

By next Friday a new frontal system could extend to the entire Coquimbo region. During the afternoon of said day he would arrive at the Limarí Province; while on Saturday it could reach La Serena and Coquimbo.

Lastly, a third frontal band would arrive on Wednesday of next week, as detailed by the Mi Radio meteorologist “it looks interesting, but there are more than 7 days left, but it looks watery.”
