The National Land Agency delivered property titles to 15 peasant families in the municipality of El Piñón, Magdalena. This event was carried out with the objective of strengthening the rights of rural women and peasant organizations, marking the recognition and formalization of rural property in the department.

During the day, local authorities and representatives of the National Land Agency personally delivered the long-awaited titles, granting the beneficiary families legal security over the lands they have cultivated and cared for for generations. For many farmers, this formalization represents a crucial step towards the stability and sustainable development of their farming communities in the municipality of El Piñón.

“Finally we can say that these lands are truly ours. For a long time, working the land without being sure that it really belonged to us was a constant concern,” said one of the beneficiary farmers.
