The Seremi of Public Works reported that the Regional Comptroller’s Office took into account the Mandate Agreement, made between the Regional Government of Aysén and the Regional Directorate of Architecture of the MOP, which contains the budget increase approved by the Regional Council of Aysén to replace essential elements, such as the synthetic grass field and perimeter closure at the ANFA Stadium in Puerto Aysén.
Thus, the Regional Directorate of Architecture of the MOP awards the Santa Eduarda SPA Construction Company the desired works that will begin the last week of this month, have an execution period of 180 days and an investment by the Regional Government and its Council of $802 million.
The Seremi (S) of the MOP Paola Azócar indicated that at the end of June the replacement work on the synthetic grass field at the ANFA Stadium will begin. The project has been desired by the leaders and by the people who practice sports and who mobilize around this activity.
“These works will allow us to advance as a government in building infrastructure that has an obvious social nature and that contributes to more people having access to the practice of sport in a safe place, conditioned for these purposes, as well as opening this associated space to sport to other clubs that make up the ANFA,” said the Seremi (S).
The works include the complete change of the synthetic grass carpet of the Stadium, the replacement of the perimeter closure, the change of the substitute benches, control booth, construction of pedestrian paths, protective sports mesh, flagpole and the installation of garbage cans, among others.
The president of ANFA Aysén Esquivel Bravo commented that this news culminates a very important process for the Association in Puerto Aysén and for the sports community made up of two affiliated institutions, which include a children’s team, first, second and third children’s, youth series , reserve series, honor series, senior, super senior and ladies, for whom it was very necessary to have a good venue.
“Our portfolio at the Anfa Stadium is already 18 years old and really deserved this change, so of course I cannot stop thanking the Governor and her Council for the financing and increase in resources for the work and also to the MOP Architecture team, which is the Technical Unit that will execute the work.
