The events, tributes and celebrations around the LGTBIQ+ pride They will begin in Córdoba long before June 28. In fact, this Thursday (June 20) it is claimed in the Ostin Macho Gallery (Duque de Fernán Nuñez, 1) with the exhibition Impasto, in which 15 artists belonging to the LGTBIQ+ collective participate and which will remain open until the end of summer.

In this collective art exhibition, the NGO Amnesty International and the Córdoba Association All Transforming, organizations that fight tirelessly for the equal rights of LGTBIQ+ people, and to which part of the profits from the sale of works from this exhibition will be allocated.

The word ‘Impasto’, of Italian origin, means ‘mixture’. Impasto is also a pictorial technique that involves the application of texture based on very thick layers; “In the same way that the people of the collective, we often forge ourselves based on layers, so as not to go outside the ‘norm’, so that our pen is not noticeable, layers to hide what we really are or what we really feel.” , for fear of being rejected, discriminated against or harmed,” the organization explains.

Impasto is made up of a heterogeneous artistic mix, a cast of 15 different artists from disciplines such as illustration, photography or ceramics, among whom are Adri Burpi, Andrés Granados, Bran Solo, Dildo con Bigote, Fantasmagoría, Gonza Gallego, Julio Muñoz, the tandem Irene Godino and María Chacón, Javier Rubín, Jotaká, La Purísima Conchi, Little Exhibition, Luis Torres, Pedro Brunetti and Zarvaje.
