The Directorate of Social Economy invites you to tour the exhibition spaces of products made by Mendoza hands. There will be fairs in Ciudad, Maipú, Luján, San Martín and Las Heras.
It is a different purchasing experience that brings together around one hundred productive units of the social economy and that promotes fair trade and decent work. In addition to the fairs, there are online purchases through the virtual catalog of the Social Economy Directorate.
The director of Social Economy, which depends on the General Directorate of Community Development of the Government of Mendoza, Lorena Meschini, said: “Eight years ago, we decided to convert this sporadic sales space into a permanent commercial circuit. The concepts that guide the fairs and walks of the social economy are decent work and self-employment, along with an offer of products made with Mendoza hands, fair trade and care for the environment.”
All the options for this long weekend
· Paseo de la Fuente is part of the Route of Artisans and Entrepreneurs of Mendoza, and will operate this Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Paseo Artesanal Estación Cultural Ciudad, located on Belgrano and Las Heras streets, will operate from Thursday to Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
· Plaza de las Artes located in Plaza Independencia, in the city of Mendoza, will operate from Thursday to Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
· Plaza General Espejo, located on Viamonte and Aguinaga streets in Chacras de Coria, will operate on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
· Artesanos Plaza Departamental General San Martín, located on Av. San Martín and Balcarce, in Lujan de Cuyo, will operate on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
· Cultural Walk of the Artisans and Entrepreneurs of Maipú, located on Pablo Pescara and San Martin streets, Maipú, will operate on Thursdays from 3 to 8 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
· Meanwhile, in the department of San Martin, the Provincial Envero Festival will take place in the Plaza del Museo de Las Bóvedas, which will operate on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Added to this is the Winter Fair of Artisans and Microentrepreneurs located in the Family Park, Boulogne Sur Mer and Almirante Brown, El Challao, which will operate on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
