As a new opportunity for the eleventh grade students of the municipality of San Zenón, Magdalena, the ‘Talento Magdalena’ agreement signed this Thursday between Pablo Vera Salazar, representing the University of Magdalena and José Méndez, mayor of the riverside town, was described .
This educational agreement served to include five new low-income students from the population in the Alma Mater’s flagship programwho will fulfill their dream of becoming professionals and being able to support their families.
“This is an achievement of our administration that was able to rescue with the University of Magdalena this program that had been abandoned by the previous administration, and what had been acquired was a debt that we have already canceled, which is the challenge of this year,” said the mayor. In addition, highlighted the support of rector Vera Salazar for higher education in the municipalitywhile indicating that the digital classroom was also achieved for the I Believe Program, which is the virtual careers.
