The National Meteorological Service (SMN), in charge of providing climate information in Argentina, issued the weather for this Saturday in the province of San Juan. The clouds will be the protagonists on this day, added to the strong gusts of wind that will increase as the hours progress.
In the morning, the sky will be partially cloudy, with a temperature that will be around 8º and the presence of wind from the southwest sector, which will run at a rate of 13 to 22 km/h.
For the siesta and afternoon in San Juan, the maximum temperature of 17º is expected to reach. The sky will be mostly cloudy and the wind will increase in strength, starting to run at a rate of 23 to 31 km/h, with gusts that could reach 60 km/h. Additionally, the wind will arrive from the west quadrant.
Despite this, the SMN issued a yellow alert for this Saturday afternoon, due to the presence of Zonda wind. It should be noted that the gusts of this north wind can reach 80 km/h, and can be exceeded from time to time. This phenomenon can cause reduced visibility, a sudden increase in temperature and conditions of very low relative humidity.
To end the day, it is expected that at night in San Juan the temperature will decrease a few degrees and the thermometer will read 12º. The night will be windy and the direction in which the wind flows will change, coming from the southern sector with an intensity that could reach 31 km/h, with gusts that can reach 60 km/h. Finally, there is a slight chance of precipitation that amounts to only 10%.
