In the Voluntariado Social neighborhood, in the municipality of Algeciras, Huila, a regrettable scene was recorded on the night of Friday, June 21.
Pedro José Medina, a Venezuelan citizen, was brutally murdered in his own home. According to neighbors, two men arrived at the victim’s house and, without saying a word, shot her, ending her life instantly.
The authorities are carrying out the relevant investigations to clarify this act of violence that is shaking the community of the agricultural pantry of Huila. After committing the crime, The attackers fled quickly and their whereabouts remain unknown.

Desperate, some people close to Pedro tried to help him, but sadly discovered that he no longer had vital signs.
The body of Pedro José Medina was transferred to Forensic Medicine, where the necessary procedures will be carried out before being handed over to his relatives in the next few hours. The community remains shocked and awaiting justice for this tragic event.
