The Secretary of Security Public and Citizen Protection of the Municipal Government of San Luis Potosi has issued a statement updating on the situation vial in the city due to the increase in water levels due to rains recent.
For this reason, the Police Vial has made closures at several strategic points:
- Santiago River, in the section from Muñoz Avenue to Soledad de Graciano Sánchez.
- Río Españita, from Vicente Rivera to the National Anthem.
- Unevenness Mountain range View (Plaza San Luis).
These measures of closing vial have been implemented to guarantee the safety of citizens due to the increase in water flow in these areas. The climate situation has raised concerns in various sectors of the city, especially in areas near rivers and slopes.
It is reported that the rains registered range from mild to moderate in the north, west, south, center and east quadrants of San Luis Potosi.
The SSPC urges citizens to take precautions when moving around the city and following the instructions of the corresponding authorities to avoid incidents. Constant monitoring of the climatic situation will be maintained to take additional measures if necessary.
