This Monday, June 24 began winter holidays 2024 in Chilea date that applies to almost all regions of the country.
It’s all about a long-awaited break in the classrooms and, in general, it extends for the same amount of time for a good number of educational establishments.

The latter was defined by the School Calendar 2024 last December, prepared by the Ministry of Education in coordination with the Ministry of Health, based on viral sharing from this time of year.
Winter Holidays 2024 in Chile: on this date the break ends
In accordance with what was agreed by the authority, the winter holidays in Chile end next Monday, July 8where all levels that joined the break must return to the classrooms and start the second semester.
But be careful, because in the regions of Arica and Parinacota and Tarapacá the break just starts July 8 and extends until the 22 of that month, specifying the usual two weeks where countless families look for entertainment panoramas.
In parallel to the previously defined processes, it is expected that two locations in the country have a break of three weeks in totalwhere they are counted:
- Magallanes Region: between Monday, July 1 and Monday, July 22, 2024.
- Aysen Region: between Monday, July 8 and Monday, July 29.
